Mark Irvin is a singer/songwriter and music educator/clinician from Omaha, NE. He recently released his second CD “I’m Coming Home”. Co-produced with Chris Acker, the tracks feature some wonerful musicians including Rick Avard, Renee Peters, Jennifer Birnstihl , Elaine Stoner, Sarah Smouse, Jimmy Weber, Barry Castaneda, Strom Rhode, Dan Maca, and Mitch Towne.

No stranger to the rock and roll lifestyle, Irvin spent much of the eighties playing and touring with various cover bands before earning his BA in music education in the mid-90’s.

Along with playing shows to promote “I’m Coming Home”, Mark also works as a free-lance musician, specializing in jazz, pop, rock, and musicals. He currently plays guitar for a Buddy Holly show called RAVE ON, and bass for a Beatles show called YOKO’S FAULT. By day, he is director of bands at Gretna High School as well as a clinician doing workshops throughout the midwest. And as if that wasn't enough, he has also managed to keep a healthy family life with wife, Kathy, and sons, Eliot and Isaac.
